Abstract

Simultaneous formation of the thrombi in two different major coronary arteries is a very rare event.(1) There are several possible mechanisms of the simultaneous occlusion of 2 major coronary arteries; coronary spasm, coronary embolism of intracardiac thrombus, prospensity to thrombosis or coronary flow reduction due to hypotension.(1, 2) Here, we present two cases in our center from a 58-year-old men and a 46-year old women who were found to have acute myocardial infarction with simultaneous occlusion of the two major coronary arteries.
